Nayeli did the most amazing job of bringing our vision together for the event.
“I was part of a group that was planning an unveiling of a portrait of our beloved professor, mentor, and friend. All of this was to take place in James Chapel. The morning would be the unveiling of the portrait, after lunch then the afternoon a remembrance of the professor. We wanted the setting to portray the professor’s living room, but we were clueless of how to do this in the chapel; let alone to the finding a sofa pillows and cushions needed. Needless to say, Nayeli listened very carefully to what we wanted and how to set up for the morning unveiling and the afternoon event.
The planning for the event was all done by via Zoom, and no one in the group had met Nayeli before the day of the event. Nayeli did the most amazing job of bringing our vision together for the event. I enjoyed working with her, her attention to detail, the living room setting, the drumming, and the hanging of the portrait was more than any of us expected.
